Vanda Orchid

After viewing the iconic paintings of Hilma af Klint at the Guggenheim Museum New York, I painted several orchid portraits including this Vanda orchid with it’s metallic silver background. This orchid with it’s rich violet colors has been a personal favorite and photographs taken during visits to New York Botanical Garden Orchid Shows were used as reference.
